Hello, my name is Vivian, and I am currently studying Astrophysics with a minor in Aerospace
Engineering. A little about me: I volunteered at the Lawrence Hall of Science during the 2024 solar
eclipse. I also love helping other students who come from similar backgrounds as mine, which ultimately
led me to become a part of UC Berkeley's DCAC Early Academic Outreach Program (EAOP). I am also a
member of the 2025 cohort of the UC LEADS program. Lastly, for fun, I love hanging out with my
friends and trying new things with them.
Cal NERDS has been the greatest thing I’ve been introduced to at Cal. The community is absolutely
amazing—it truly feels like a family, especially in the Blue Room with my friends. It has helped me find
my place at Cal, and I couldn’t be more grateful. I’ve also learned about so many opportunities through
Cal NERDS that have contributed to my growth as a student. I’d like to sincerely thank the Cal NERDS
staff, Di, and Chris for giving me the chance to prove myself and my abilities. <3
