I am a student studying math and operations research at the University of California, Berkeley. My research interests include optimization theory and data-driven decision making particularly in the context of physical infrastructure and the built environment. I will be doing research under Professor Aswani in the Industrial Engineering and Operations Research department at Berkeley. I also serve as the Vice President of the Math Undergraduate Student Association, the organization behind the math department's Student-Faculty dinners, Math Monday talks, and annual Pauline Sperry lecture. Outside of academics, I love to run and cycle. I proudly serve as the President of Cal Running Club and work as an ambassador for the Berkeley Half-Marathon to help make running more accessible for students.
The UC LEADS program has helped me greatly in clarifying my path to graduate school, and I am grateful for the opportunity to get my research funded. The mentorship I've found at CAL NERDS has been especially meaningful to me, and I'm glad to be surrounded by such a supportive academic community!
